I grew up playing three sports. My body was something I never had to think about. It just worked. Then college happened. The drinking, terrible eating, and I just stopped moving. I got out of shape.

The wake up moment came when I sat down and felt my belly fold over my belt buckle. Cold metal against my skin. I looked down and realized I’d moved up two jean sizes without even noticing. And I thought, this is wrong. This has never happened. I’m not going up another size.

Here’s the thing. I caught it early. I didn’t need some dramatic transformation. I just reverted to what I used to do. I started moving again. And I snapped back pretty fast.

That’s when I realized most guys like us don’t need a complicated program. We just need a simple path back, something that doesn’t require us to overhaul our entire life.
